The “Secret Sauce” to booking 5 new clients

Have you ever wondered why people always talk about prioritising outreach?
I mean yeah it’s the only way to get clients while starting off, but is that really all there is to it?
Outreaching is so simple on paper, yet it’s what most agency owners struggle with the most.
But why?
I came to a conclusion while walking home from the gym after a failure of a gym session.
Quick story time.
So I’ve been practicing calisthenics for a little bit now and i’m working on my handstand. A great skill move for beginners or so they say.
But while practicing, I kept falling and falling and I got angry because all the videos I watched on handstands made it look simple.
I left the gym mad of course.
But while walking I started thinking why I failed so much and came up three things I was doing wrong.
I’ve been too lazy, I have not been practicing my handstand as often as I should.
Im taking the wrong approach, trying to something more difficult. Instead of doing wall-handstands, i’m going straight for handstands without no assistance.
I have an ineffective process when it comes to learning handstands.
Now I know this is about outreach, which is why I was so baffled when I realized the same problems I am having with my handstands are the same problems most agency owners are having with their outreach.
Good news is, they can all be solved.
The first big issue when it comes to outreaching is that people are lazy.
They don’t send out enough outreach to be seen.
This is especially a problem for agencies who are just beginning because no business is looking for them.
They have to put themselves in the spotlight to gain their first client.
So when they are not sending out enough outreach to be seen by as many companies as possible they are digging their own grave.
The second issue Focusing Their Efforts in the wrong areas
When I speak to agency owners just starting their journey they almost always say “Im sending 100 DMs per day.”
That is 100% a waste of time - unless you’re trying to network with people or you already have a great social media presence.
The chances of them getting a reply back for a decent opportunity while having under 500 followers and barely getting engagement is slim to none.
It’s not impossible, but considering the chances they are better things to put that much effort into.
The third and if not most important reason why outreach fails is… drumroll please.
An ineffective sales process
Most beginner agencies sales process goes like this.
Outreach > Book a Call > Trying to sell on the first meeting.
It just doesn’t work for one simple reason. They are not known enough to sell on the first call.
That’s why the first call should be a “discovery” call or a “lets get to know each other better” call.
You need to build trust and rapport and sad news is that doesn’t happen in one 30 minute call.
Now I know you have at least one of these problems going on in your agency because every single person inside of Client Capital have joined us with the same problems.
One of our first Clients was a copywriter we found endlessly wasting his time DM’ing coaches on instagram to get no response.
He joined up with us and now look at the Analytics of his latest cold email campaign.

Some of our other members are doing even better than he is right now and he’s killing it.
In fact, over 75% of the people in our networking group have gotten their first retainer within 4 weeks.
Outreaching seems simple, is simple, but made hard when you don’t know how to do it.
We want to teach you how to do it - that is if you take the chance to learn it.
If you want to start booking meetings EVERY week & onboarding clients, reply to this email with “OUTREACH” & we will be in touch.
Cheers,
Dan.
